Alcoholysis.com helps youngsters to permanently get rid of their substance abuses

September 19th, 2010

Los Angeles, CA (September, 2010) – Everything that’s more than the limit will impose, is bad for your health. Youngsters are the ones who delve into alcohol from early ages, as there is a certain type of freedom that they find in this kind of behavior. Generally, alcohol just empowers masses of people to develop a feeling and instinct of belongingness while they are dazed by the effects of alcohol, in which their ration will not function anymore in normal parameters, and they will just be guided by instincts or the so called “reptilian brain”.

Alcohol addiction is described as an ever increasing phenomenon and in the last years it has witnessed a very big growth and if the age that youngsters would start consuming alcohol would be around 15 years, now the limit has gone down even more, reaching to a whooping 10 years old.

The Minister of Education and Child Healthcare has declared that this is a very concerning rate that the country is dealing with, and it takes too many efforts to control this.

The long term rehabilitation centers that focus around God and the teachings of the Lord seem to yield a lot of positive results when it comes to these teens and even younger children. Mild and even severe addictions are cured effectively in the drug and alcohol rehab centers, where children acknowledge their place in the world and the connection that they develop with the Holy Lord helps them in coping even better with their problems. The results are very clear and promising, with as much as almost 100% positive results when it comes to the effectiveness of these centers.

Here teens meet up in a very large room where every one of them will be confronted with the fear and maybe anxiety of revealing their thoughts to a crowd of people that they do not know. This makes them feel more opened in such situations and because of the fact that they are put to express their emotions and feelings in front of each other, it makes them feel more confident and have a feeling of belongingness. This cuts down their lust for drinking and makes them understand the negative results of alcohol.

The Drug and Alcohol Rehab Centers are currently exhibiting a massive success with as much as hundreds of students completely rehabilitated and put on the right track. Students and teens who have troubles with alcohol and other drugs, can take advantage of the services that the institution puts up for them and the specialized staff that is employed, is especially trained to deal with such patients.

Alcoholysis.com is Christian drug rehab center situated in Los Angeles and offers rehabilitation services to youngsters who are having trouble with alcohol or drug abuses. New Resource for People Trying to Beat the Smoking Ban with electronic cigarettes

September 8th, 2010

A new review website ecigarettestore.co.uk is providing much needed information for those people who are considering using electronic cigarettes to beat the smoking ban. When the new law came into force in July 2007 it had the effect of convincing some people to stay at home instead of visiting their favourite locales. Many complained that they just couldn’t enjoy going out for a drink if they weren’t able to smoke in the bars and venues. This was bad news for those in the pub trade as they noticed a 7% fall in sales. Now though many of these people may be able to return to their favourite haunts with the help of the E-cigarette.

The E-Cigarette May Help People Beat the Smoking Ban

The E-Cigarette is a way to beat the smoking ban and still partake of a nicotine fix. These might look like regular cigarettes from a distance but they differ in a number of different ways. Your traditional cigarette relies on tobacco and fire to provide nicotine. This tobacco smoke contains thousands of toxic elements and it is the reason that the smoking ban was introduced in the first place. Not only is this smoke dangerous for your health but it can also cause problems for other people though second-hand smoking. This same tobacco smoke is what makes rooms where smokers stay smell so bad and even gets on their clothing to make people want to move away from them.

The ecigarettestore.co.uk provides a good explanation of how the UK Electronic Cigarette differs from the tobacco product. The great news is that it doesn’t rely on tobacco and there is no smoke for other people to inhale. The device uses water containing nicotine which is only inhaled by the person using it. This means that they are avoiding all those thousands of toxins that are associated with the regular type of cigarette. This is why so many people are now getting really excited over this product; it seems to be a lot healthier than using tobacco.

The Growing Acceptance of the E-Cigarette in Areas Where the Smoking Ban is in Place

Even though there is no reason why the device cannot be used anywhere there are still a few people who are confused about the whole thing. It is not surprising really as the device really does look like the traditional cigarette from afar. This is why the review website ecigarettestore.co.uk has provided a list of places where it is already welcome. The bars and clubs allowing these electronic cigarettes is growing by the day, and it probably only a matter of time before they are permitted universally where there is a smoking ban – there is no reason not to do so. Most pubs will be only too happy to welcome people using this device if it means a return of those people who felt driven out by the smoking ban. This is great news because it means that nobody has to feel disadvantaged because of the ban.

English Grammar Rules to Help Improve Your English

September 8th, 2010

Basic Grammar Rules

Here we will outline some basic grammar rules for nouns and verbs. This will also cover the confusion between the use of rise and raise.

This article can be used by those in a grammar class, those carrying out reviews or simply anyone seeking clarification on English grammar.

We will cover Noun identification; Count, Mass and Collective Nouns; Plural and Possessive Nouns.

Noun Identification

A noun is defined as a thing, place, animal, person, an activity, quality and/or an idea.

An example of a noun is:

A thing- Table

Place- Singapore

Animal- Dog

Person- John

An activity- cycling

An idea-Independence

Now you can spot a noun in a sentence. For example John went to the mall to buy polish.

The nouns here are:

Person- John

Thing- Polish

Place- Mall

The Functions and roles of nouns

Nouns function differently in sentences. An example of this would be:

Subject: John Loves pizza

Object of Preposition: He gave the pizza to John

Subject compliment: The best customer is John

Any word or group of words used as nouns are called nominal. John is an example of a nominal word used in the noun.

Types of Nouns

There are quite a number of different types of nouns used. The names of exact things, people and places, like Singapore and John are examples of Proper nouns.

Colloquial names such as house or desk are common nouns. These can either be abstract or concrete.

A concrete noun is one which you can see and touch, such as a chair, or a phone and an abstract noun can be an idea, independence or freedom.

Count Nouns

Count nouns are just anything that can be counted. These nouns can either be singular or plural and plural nouns generally end with the letter “s”

Singular Plural

Car Cars

Chair Chairs

Dog Dogs

There are some irregular examples and these would be Singular-Mouse and Plural- Mice.

Plural Nouns

Plural nouns are those nouns that have been changed to their plural form by the addition of -s or -es.

Possessive Nouns

Possessive nouns follow express ownership, usually just after the use of the word “of”

An example would be the life of John.

Singular possessive nouns are usually formed by the addition of an apostrophe and “s” If the noun is a plural one, then the possessive form becomes “s” and an apostrophe.

Singular Common Singular Possessive

Dog Dog’s

Plural Common Singular Possessive

Dogs Dogs’

There are certain exceptions to this. If a plural noun does not end with the letter “s” the possessive would be formed through the addition of an apostrophe and “s”.

An example would be: Singular Common Singular Possessive

Woman Women

Plural Common Plural Possessive

Women Women’s

These are just a few examples of grammatical rules for nouns, which are just a drop in the ocean in the vast number of English grammar rules.

This site also offers video lessons which are meant to help you grasp and know the pronunciation of certain words and nouns.

Actionable Job Search Advice Helping Americans Regain Employment

August 20th, 2010

Since the Great Recession began, over eight million Americans have lost their jobs. The job search process also changed due to an extremely fierce market; a market where there are about six job applicants for every position. However, the executive job search advice in the marketplace has not changed for the most part. The same cookie-cutter and generic advice of the pre-recession days still exists. Several job seekers still do not know how to conduct an effective search due to a lack of experience (conducting a search every four years or so). As a result, the average length of unemployment and unemployment insurance have increased substantially.

From my experience interacting with job seekers in person and online, several of them are predominantly applying blindly to advertised positions. As time goes by, many of them are not generating results and subsequently becoming discouraged. Several job seekers have lost their homes, vehicles, significant others, and so on due to their job loss. As an individual who was laid off in January 2009 but had the financial resources several other job seekers lacked; I decided to take action to help as many job seekers possible by creating JobRadioUSA and The Career Factory talk shows in mid 2009.

Both resources are free and provide the how-to or specifics for the job search. All job search topics are covered from lead generation to offer negotiation. This advice is from the job search trenches or has been tested in the marketplace. Thus, these resources have helped several job seekers land new positions in perhaps the toughest economy since the Great Depression.

Over a year later, the job market has not improved much. Several job seekers are still predominantly relying on advertised jobs. Many other job seekers have became discouraged and given up completely. However, most of these individuals have not been fortunate enough to learn about JobRadioUSA and its weekly career shows. Likewise, we owe it to ourselves to get the word out about these free great resources to as many job seekers possible. Whether utilizing traditional and social media and other sources; it is vital that we help all job seekers during these difficult times.

Our weekly Tuesday night online talk radio career shows on BlogTalkRadio feature a top notch career expert. These featured guests are CEOs of the top executive recruiting firms, bestselling authors, executives of outplacement firms, and so on. They share the specifics for generating job leads, converting leads to interviews, transforming interviews to job offers, and becoming resilient and valuable in the workplace. During the second half of these hour shows, job seekers can ask questions and connect with the experts subsequently. If individuals could not attend the live shows, they can download the archives anytime afterwards.

In conclusion, feel free to view these free resources and assess their value. Next inform as many job seekers about these resources and encourage them to pay it forward by doing the same. If you would like to learn more about this philanthropic initiative, feel free to contact me.

Building an online community for your business

August 10th, 2009

London, UK ( Qualitypressreleaser ) August 7, 2009 – It’s certainly something lots of marketing experts are talking about, but just how small businesses should go about building an online community is harder to understand. Ben Dyer has built a 10,000 member community for his business and he shares the lessons he’s learned in a new article on Marketing Donut.

Dyer says that while a community is a powerful way to engage with your customers, building one requires patience and perseverance.

“For every community I have seen fail due to lack of traffic, two have the plug pulled because of a perceived lack of progress” he says.

Dyer says the other key ingredients of success are: leadership, ground rules, taking criticism on the chin, and making sure the community caters to everyone, not just the “fanatics”.

“Running a community is hard work, but it can be a fantastically rewarding experience for both you and your customers. The reality is that if you have a successful company, product or service, your customers will be talking about you anyway. What you need to decide is whether you are willing to facilitate the conversation.”

Why giveaways are good for business

July 18th, 2009

London, UK ( Qualitypressreleaser ) July 17, 2009 – Making your most valuable customers feel valued with a carefully-selected gift could deliver the same return as a direct mail to 1000 people or an advert in the local newspaper, says a new expert article on free small business marketing resource Marketing Donut.

“Merchandising might seem like an unnecessary cost during the recession, but if you set clear objectives and select the right merchandise for your target audience, it can generate a valuable return on investment,” says the article on Marketing Donut.

The article says merchandising delivers benefits such as: connecting with customers, raising awareness of the business, and driving sales.

Marketing Donut expert Andy Preston says that with merchandising it’s important to be clear about what you want to achieve. “For example, do you want customers to sign up to your newsletter and communicate with you more, or to drive new customers to your website and increase online sales?”

It’s also important to choose an item of merchandise that’s appropriate for your business.

“So if you’re in financial services you could portray your reliability with something practical, and if you’re in the leisure sector, you should create something fun. For example, a go-kart business could distribute wind-up mini racers.”

The article also has advice about choosing suppliers and methods of distribution.
