William Innes Teaching Master Class at WPPI in February 2011 in Las Vegas

WPPI member and Southern California wedding photographer William Innes will be teaching a Master Class at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International WPPI Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada in February 2011.
The WPPI holds a convention in Las Vegas every year for wedding and portrait photographers and draws a global audience of over 14,000 people every year. The convention lasts a week and also includes a trade show across two massive ballrooms featuring hundreds of vendors. The next WPPI Full Convention is from February 17-24, 2011, and includes a trade show from February 21-23, 2011. WPPI is the place professional photographers come for the very best in education, and the 2011 lineup of Master Classes is all part of the attraction. Master Classes, where William Innes will teach, are scheduled Sunday February 20 through Wednesday February 23, 2010 and require pre-registration as there are limited seats.
William looks forward to being a Master Class Speaker at the WPPI in Vegas. The WPPI is the most sought after event of the world’s best photographers to network. The WPPI hosts more than three hundred exhibitors including photography and imaging products from the industry’s best. Master Speakers cover specialties such as weddings and portraits, commercial and landscape, Photoshop and workflow, business and marketing, lighting and posing and more.
According to William, exceptional photographs are not just taken. They are created. William believes if he can do it – anyone can! He will share what works for him and what doesn’t (He has tried almost everything). He will cover his marketing – including some surprising old school techniques that have helped to rapidly grow his business. Other topics will include work flow (You have to be fast to make money), how to turn clients into apostles and some other photography tips. William closely interacts with his clients to ensure breathtaking images. The final photograph is then carefully put through post-production techniques to create master pieces.
William discovered his love for photography as a child through his father’s German Praktica ML75 35mm camera. Even though his career was in the aerospace industry, he continued to pursue his passion for photography. What began as a focus on travel and landscape photography soon got him hooked to wedding photography. Five years ago, William quit the aerospace industry to become a professional Santa Clarita wedding photographer. His business has grown rapidly and he is extremely well known for his artful eye, creativity and attention to detail.
In less than five years William has gone from a total novice to a profitable wedding photographer in Los Angeles. He says, “I love all kinds of photography styles – contemporary wedding photography, wedding photojournalism, destination wedding photography and fashion photography. I am a Southern California wedding photographer, but I enjoy traveling to destination weddings.”
William really enjoys interacting closely with his clients and hangs out with them on their special day to get a first-hand feel of the excitement and romance, capturing it for eternity on his camera. He says, “The wedding album is the first family heirloom of a newly married couple and my storybook albums graphically tell the days’ story.” His signature photographic style highlights the day’s events packaging them in the best way, using the finest material.
